Dean Brown founded Airport Online after more than twenty years working at the intersection of digital transformation and cost optimization. His career has spanned some of the most demanding names in financial services and enterprise technology — including Aprimo Marketing Software, Morgan Stanley, UBS Investment Bank, Franklin Templeton Investments and Wells Fargo — where he managed multi-million-dollar portfolios and led programmes that turned complex, costly operations into lean, modern systems.

That work kept Dean moving through airports across the United States, week after week. Travelling as constantly as he did made one thing impossible to ignore: the digital airport experience in America lagged noticeably behind what travellers take for granted in Europe and Asia. Outdated websites, scattered information and sites that barely worked on a phone were the norm — especially at the county-run airports that serve so many communities but rarely have the budget to keep up.

Airport Online is his answer to that gap. Dean built the company to give every US airport — from major hubs to small regional fields — a modern, accessible, traveller-first website at no cost to the taxpayer, while helping county-run airports thrive financially through optional, tasteful revenue sharing. It is a platform designed to advance government efficiency without ever putting public budgets or, more importantly, people second.

His guiding principle is simple: people before profit. Beyond the business, Dean is a passionate advocate for education, mentorship and accessibility — convinced that the best technology is the kind that opens doors for everyone, not just those who can already afford the newest device or the fastest connection.
